Working in conjunction with "La Petite Fourmi" aupair agency in Switzerland and a number of other au pair agencies in the European Union, we aim to find the ideal childcare solution for children of all ages by satisfying the expectations of both the family and the au pair.

Subject to meeting British, German, Spanish or Swiss immigration laws, au pair jobs and childcare jobs can be found in Germany, Spain, Switzerland or the United Kingdom (UK) with families who need an extra pair of hands to look after their children.

AU PAIR JOBS IN GERMANY

Applicants must be single and if from one of the European union Countries aged 18/27 years years old. Applicants from non EEC countries should be aged 18/24 years old.

AU PAIR JOBS IN SPAIN

Applicants must be single, aged 18/27 years old and can work in Spain for a maximum of two years. European Union citizens do not need a visa to work in Spain. Non EU citizens will need to apply to their local Spanish embassy for a visa and will need to enroll in a Spanish language course before arrival.

AU PAIR JOBS IN SWITZERLAND

Applicants must be single, aged 18 to 30 years years old and hold a passport from one of the following countries:

Applicants must be single, aged 18 to 27 years years old and hold a passport from one of the following countries:

Andora,Austria,Belgium,Bosnia-Herzegovina,Bulgaria,Croatia,Cyprus,Czech Republic,Denmark,Estonia,Faroe Islands,Finland,France,Germany,Greece, Greenland,Hungary, Ireland,Italy,Latvia,Lithuania,Luxembourg,Macedonia,Malta, Monaco,Netherlands,Norway,Poland,Portugal,Romania,San Marino,Slovakia, Slovenia,Spain,Sweden,Switzerland,Turkey.

GENERAL INFORMATION

We are looking for young people with or without au pair or childcare experience to work between 25/30 hours per week as an au pair in Germany, Spain, Switzerland or the UK looking after children and doing light housework. Jobs can be found with families who have infants or older children, depending upon the au pairs preference.

Being an au pair will give you the opportunity to learn more about the British, German, Spanish or Swiss culture while learning another language and making new friends. Aupair jobs can be found in Germany, Spain, the French, German or Italian speaking regions of Switzerland or in the United Kingdom subject to the applicant meeting the British, German, Spanish or Swiss immigration requirements.

Families seeking an au pair will be asked to complete a registration form to establish any particular needs and to give details of the hours of work, salary and benefits.

Summer jobs are available in the United Kingdom (UK) for students looking for holiday work for one to three months duration. Short term work may be available at other times of the year subject to availability.  

Families in the United Kingdom (UK) looking for an au pair to help them during the summer months should register as soon as possible to avoid disappointment since many students apply for summer jobs during the early part of the year so that they can plan ahead before going to college in September.

The Petite Pumpkin au pair agency will select applicants from the countries listed above who will be required to complete an application form and provide suitable school or employment references & a criminal background check. These details will  be forwarded to the prospective family.
